Planet Baobab
Nestled among 17 giant baobabs near Gweta, about 40 km from the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in Botswana, Planet Baobab is a quirky and vibrant desert oasis offering accessibly-priced accommodation in the heart of the Kalahari. The camp features 8 twin Bakalanga huts, 7 twin Baobab huts, 3 family Bakalanga huts, and overland & public campsites, all with ensuite or semi-detached bathrooms and standing fans. Facilities include a large bar with wine-bottle chandeliers, braai areas, and the coolest swimming pool in the Kalahari. Guests enjoy bushwalks, 4×4 pan drives, meerkat visits, cattlepost tours, spa treatments, and seasonal zebra and wildebeest migrations. The camp accommodates all ages, with a maximum of 10 guests per activity vehicle.
