Camp Kalahari
Located on Brown Hyaena Island in the Makgadikgadi Pans, Camp Kalahari offers a cozy, traditional safari escape on a unique salt pan island. The camp features 12 spacious Meru-style tents 6 twins, 4 doubles, and 2 family tents accommodating a maximum of 28 guests. All tents are en-suite with indoor showers, standing fans, four-poster beds, and rich textiles. Facilities include a thatched library, lounge and dining area, and a large swimming pool to cool off. Meals are plated and tailored to dietary requirements. Activities include game drives, night drives, meerkat encounters, walks with the Zu/’hoasi Bushmen, visits to Chapman’s Baobab, and seasonal highlights such as the zebra and wildebeest migration or sunset stargazing on the pans.
